The Damüls Kilbi is a firm fixture in the summer calendar and attracts numerous visitors every year. It traditionally takes place on 15 August and offers a varied program for the whole family.
The festive day begins at 10.00 am with a solemn church service in the parish church of St. Nikolaus, where the community comes together to celebrate this special day. This is followed by a morning pint by the Alpenklänge Damüls music association in the underground car park in the village, where visitors can enjoy the day with hearty music in a convivial atmosphere.
The FIS Ski Museum is open from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm and offers a fascinating insight into the history of skiing and the development of winter sports. For those who like to stroll around, there is a wide range of market stalls to discover and marvel at. Of course, there is plenty of food and drink on offer so that no one goes hungry or thirsty.
A special highlight is the corn hole tournament, where both beginners and professionals can put their skills to the test. There is also a varied program for the younger guests: face painting for children ensures smiling faces and lots of fun.
