If you arrive on the Austrian motorways or expressways when you arrive, you need a vignette. You will receive this as either a 10-day, 2-month or annual vignette.
Exception: A14 motorway from Hörbranz to Hohenems. For example, if you drive from Germany via Bregenz to Dornbirn, you do not need a vignette
To get to Damuels Faschina you'll have more than one possibility by car.
From Germany via Stuttgart (or Munich) - Memmingen - Lindau - Bregenz - Bregenzerwald - Au - Damuels.
From Germany via Kempten (Allgäu) - Oberstaufen - Bregenzerwald - Au - Damüls.
From Switzerland via Sargans or St. Gallen to Feldkirch - Thüringen - Großes Walsertal - Damuels.
From Austria (Tirol) via Innsbruck - Arlberg - Bludenz - Ludesch - Großes Walsertal - Damuels.

Many navigation devices do not know the street names in Damüls. If your holiday address is not found try replacing the street name (Kirchdorf, Uga, Oberdamüls, Schwende) with "Damüls".
The technology of e-vehicles is getting better every year and the range of electric cars is increasing steadily. If you come to Damuels Faschina with your e-vehicle, we can offer you e-filling stations in the following locations.
Please note that in winter snow chains may be required! Winter tires are obligatory in Austria from 01 November to 15 April.
Please note that from December to June, depending on snow conditions, the Furkajoch is CLOSED and the road can not be used.
In summer there is the possibility to arrive via the Furkajoch. This narrow pass road can be reached via Rankweil - Laterns.
We would advise against this road for your arrival - it is a partially single-lane mountain road.
