Schattenburg, Feldkirch

The Schattenburg in Feldkirch is the landmark of the city and was built in the 12th century. Here ruled the lords of Montfort. The castle has an impressive museum with a vast collection of Gothic art. In the keep a rich collection of old weapons can be seen. In the Schattenburg some important testimonies from Feldkirch past are kept.
