Lake Seewaldsee, Fontanella

The mountain lake can be comfortably reached on foot from the Fontanella Säge bus stop in about 30 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access by car only permitted for residents) leads past the houses of Garlitt and on to the Seewaldseetobel. After crossing the impressive ravine, you get to the courtyards of this once so difficult to reach Seewald . Here, embedded in lush meadows, the lovely mountain lake Seewaldsee is located. Since the water supply is only small, the lake at this altitude (1,200 m) shows exceptionally pleasant temperatures, which in summer entice you to take a bath.
