Angelika Kauffmann Museum, Schwarzenberg

Angelika Kauffmann was one of the most important artists who had a close connection the Bregenzerwald. Her father was from Schwarzenberg and after the death of her mother in 1757 she traveled with her father to Schwarzenberg, where they redesigned the local church.
Almost invisible from the outside, the 450-year-old building contains a modern exhibition space. It shows annually changing theme exhibitions with original works by the famous painter.
