Once again this summer: Walser in the forest! For the 14th time, the cozy, rustic stable building at the Damüls vicarage will be transformed into a stage for very special sounds. Every Wednesday evening during the summer vacations, locals and guests alike come together to experience music away from the usual - from jazz to blues to rock. What makes this concert series so special?
The intimate atmosphere, the authentic charm of the venue - and above all the extraordinary artists who will surprise and delight you with their live performances.
On Wednesday, July 16, Julian Grabmayer will be a guest at Walser im Wald. The Styrian musician stands for modern Austropop with depth - direct, charming and with a good pinch of irony. Whether funny or critical, melancholy or light-footed - Julian's songs are as varied as life itself. With his charismatic grating voice and lyrics in the finest Styrian dialect, he manages the balancing act between entertainment and message in an impressive way.
Sometimes thoughtful, sometimes tongue-in-cheek - but always authentic.
